Cost Field
It would be great if we could see the cost field as well as the price field, so that we can see that difference in the reports.

Work Orders/Jobs in Sortly
Ability to create work orders or jobs in Sortly. Assign inventory to be consumed at a job. Once the job is completed, the inventory quantity should automatically update in Sortly. Ability to see which jobs are in progress, completed etc and to see how much materials have been consumed on the job so far. Maybe even allow some integration with other job management software.

Purchase Orders: Auto-Fill Part Number
When adding a part to your purchase order you have to manually add the part number. If it was added automatically it would make things a lot faster and smother

I would love to have mutiple units of measurement in each item.
I have items that have complete boxes full, as well as a few samples and sometimes more than just a few that are a qty each instead of box. I'm just figuring out how to set everything up, but to move and track everything correctly, I would have to set up two separate items with the same bar codes in a folder for that item so that I can track boxes and loose quantities. The system doesn't like this when I include the bar code and tries to merge the items. It's a lot of extra work. I can list the loose items in the notes, but that's not really tracking proper quantities.

Update items via bulk import
Add the ability to update items via bulk import. An example of why this would be important is for a cycle count or a stock take.

Ability to mark items active or inactive without having to archive/delete
Customers would like the ability to toggle items into an active/inactive state. This would allow them to keep items within their inventory without having to archive or delete the items. It would also give them the ability to quickly move an item from active to inactive without have to search through the Trash.

Multiple Sites quantity lines for the same part
We have multiple sites that inventory the same items/parts. Having an option to have multiple quantity lines for different sites/warehouses that add up to the min level or haver their own stock level would sure be handy. Otherwise, we would need to make items for each site individually multiplying our efforts and allowing room for mistakes.

Ability to email purchase orders
Currently we have to download the purchase order pdf, open and email, type a message etc just to send a PO. Sortly already knows vendors email addresses so it makes sense we could send the email straight from sortly. This would then automatically set the PO status to "Ordered".

Option to make fields required
We have at least half a dozen custom fields that we report on. To make it easier when my team is filling out the custom fields, it would be helpful if they couldn't complete the Item information without filling out all the required fields. Without that stopgap, we miss entering in details and are unable to have accurate reporting.

Dragging folders or items into other folders
this makes it easier and more efficient when organizing folders in a big sub folder. it would work so that when you click and hold you can drag one folder and place it into another by hovering over the folder you want to be the new destination
